TheOmoteeEffect Portfolio
TheOmoteeEffect is a Lagos-based mobile videographer and video editor specializing in cinematic wedding films, event coverage, and social media content — all shot on mobile devices. I designed and built a Framer portfolio site to showcase the work, establish credibility, and convert visitors into bookings.

The Challenge
The brand needed a site that could do three things at once: prove the "shot on mobile" work looks genuinely cinematic, make the range of services easy to scan (weddings, events, corporate, social reels, and more), and give potential clients a frictionless path to booking a shoot — all without feeling like a generic template.
What Was Built
Hero section: a bold "Capturing Moments. Telling Stories." headline paired with a showreel video player, immediately setting the cinematic tone and letting visitors watch the work before reading a word.
Trust signals: a stats row up top — 500+ videos delivered, 2x engagement boost, 4.9-star rating — to establish credibility before the visitor even scrolls.
Services grid: ten distinct offerings (wedding content, birthday coverage, corporate events, social media reels, behind-the-scenes content, and more) laid out as scannable cards rather than a dense paragraph.
"Recent Work" showcase: an embedded video gallery pulling directly from real projects, with a link through to a full project archive page.
Social proof: a reviews section built from real client feedback and DM screenshots, giving the testimonials an authentic, unpolished credibility.
Booking flow: a dedicated contact page plus a persistent "Book a Shoot" call-to-action repeated through the page, backed by direct WhatsApp and email links for low-friction outreach.
FAQ section: pre-answering common client questions (mobile-only shooting, turnaround time, platforms covered) to reduce back-and-forth before booking.
The Result
A fast, mobile-first portfolio that leads with proof (the reel, the stats, the reviews) before asking for anything — built to convert casual visitors into direct bookings via WhatsApp and email.
